** TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF VERIFIABLE FULL SERVICE RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE.
Be home for dinner. Every day. We're open 6:30am–2pm. No late nights, no closing shifts, no missing bedtime. This is restaurant leadership built around a real life.
We're a scratch-made Southern breakfast & brunch concept growing across Arkansas, and we're looking for a Shift Manager who keeps the floor and kitchen running as one team. You're the primary decision-maker on shift when the GM isn't there — the person the team looks to for direction, and the one guests remember when something goes right (or gets fixed fast).
What you'll own
- Shift Leadership — direct FOH and BOH team members throughout the shift, assign opening/closing/side work, and manage pacing, station rotation, and deployment.
- Team Oversight — coach and correct in the moment; send a team member home for performance, conduct, or policy issues when needed (documented and reported to the GM).
- Guest Experience — hold a floor presence all shift, handle guest recovery independently (comps, voids, discounts within TBB guidelines), and resolve complaints with urgency.
- Front & Back of House Coordination — oversee FOH readiness at open, monitor BOH pace and ticket times, and keep both sides talking to each other.
- Opening & Closing — run cash handling, safe counts, and POS close-out; verify all side work is done; complete the final walk and shift log.
- Financial Oversight — manage cash drawers and end-of-shift POS reconciliation, monitor labor costs in real time, and flag supply or equipment needs to the GM.
Who you are
- You love people — all kinds — and keeping a team moving in the same direction gives you energy.
- You lead from the front, stay calm under pressure, and make good calls without waiting to be told.
- Hospitality is in you: you're the type who hosts and cooks at home because you enjoy it.
- You're organized, dependable, and comfortable owning a shift on your own.
Requirements
- 2+ years of verifiable full-service restaurant experience (this one's firm); supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Toast experience preferred.
- ServSafe certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and move through a busy restaurant environment.
- Available for early morning, weekend, and holiday shifts consistent with breakfast/brunch hours.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Able to commute to Little Rock, AR. In-person role.
Pay & benefits
- $16–$18/hour, based on experience.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off + paid training.
- Employee discount and a schedule that respects your evenings.
