Role Overview:
As an In-Home Caregiver with Visiting Angles of WNC, you will provide compassionate, life-changing care to seniors throughout Asheville and the surrounding counties. Working alongside a deeply supportive team, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing our clients' quality of life daily. We truly value work-life balance, offering both full-time and part-time positions with the flexibility to design a schedule that works for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensuring all dietary needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and family to provide updates on client care.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient care.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus If You:
- Have a certification in First Aid or CPR.
- Are bilingual, particularly in Spanish.
- Have experience working with seniors or in a home care setting.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is available as both Full Time and Part Time, with shifts available Monday through Sunday.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Asheville, North Carolina.
