Dishwasher Job Description (Coaxum’s) — Full-Time & Part-Time
Coaxum’s is hiring two dishwashers to join our dish team. Our dish team is one of the most important roles in the business—without them, we can’t maintain a smooth transition between guests and service.
We’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, hardworking, and a true team player.
Position DetailsPart-Time Dishwasher
- Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week
- Shift times: Midday or night shift based on business needs
- Great for: Someone looking to get into the workforce
Dishwasher
- Schedule: Up to 35 hours per week
- Requirement: Experience working in a full-service restaurant is needed
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and cookware using proper cleaning procedures
- Keep the dish area clean and organized during and after service
- Clean station walls around the dish pit and ensure the area stays presentable
- Place items back where they belong (correct stations, correct storage)
- Remove trash and handle dish-related cleanup efficiently
- Support a smooth workflow by staying on top of turnaround and communication with the team
- Clean and organized walk in cooler & dry storage area.
- Organize and clean mop closet
- Deep clean wall areas around dish sink.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lb trash bags or heavier
- Ability to stand and work for long periods in a fast-paced environment
