Our nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and innovative Behavioral Health Director -Correctional Facility to lead behavioral health services within a correctional setting. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to improve the lives of justice-involved individuals by overseeing high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health and substance use treatment services.
You will be responsible for:
- Provide leadership, supervision, and ongoing support to behavioral health clinical staff.
- Oversee clinical operations to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement behavioral health programs and policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services.
- Monitor staff performance, provide training, and facilitate professional development.
- Manage clinical documentation and reporting requirements.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices in behavioral health care.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field is required. Current LPCC-S or LISW-S licensure is mandatory. Minimum of five years of behavioral health experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities. Experience in correctional healthcare, community mental health, or substance use treatment is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
