Lewiston-Porter is seeking a compassionate, dedicated and skilled Special Education Teacher for our Elementary program. The successful candidates will begin in a full-time (1.0 FTE), probationary position with the 2026-2027 school year.
The position may include assignment in a self-contained classroom, or Preschool Special Class in an Integrated Setting (SCIS). The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing individualized instruction and support for students with disabilities while fostering inclusion and collaboration within a self-contained or an integrated classroom environment. The position requires close partnership classroom aides and related service providers to meet the diverse needs of all students.
The successful candidate will create a structured, nurturing, and inclusive environment that fosters academic growth, emotional regulation, and positive social interaction.
