Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Class B licensed Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in driving and handling products.
Duties
- Operate box trucks to safely transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring safe handling and adherence to weight limits.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Class B licensed Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods safely.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is essential.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, along with knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; manual transmission experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
