The Emergency Vehicle Parts Clerk is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service activities. This role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. The Emergency Vehicle Parts Clerk plays a key role in maintaining organized warehouse operations, supporting parts sales, and delivering exceptional service to customers while promoting operational efficiency, quality, and workplace safety. Job training and industry education will be provided.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify accuracy against packing lists
Organize and maintain inventory storage areas; ensure proper labeling and accessibility
Perform stock counts, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventory audits
Pick, pack, and accurately label items for outbound shipments
Prepare products for delivery, ensuring secure and damage-free packaging
Update and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse software
Record all incoming and outgoing shipments with correct product codes and quantities
Collaborate with sales and other departments to fulfill customer orders on time
Prioritize urgent orders and communicate delays or issues
Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing items
Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, packaging tools)
Follow all safety policies and guidelines
Identify and report potential hazards or unsafe conditions
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Physical ability to lift, move, and handle heavy products as needed
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Regularly lift up to 25 lbs; frequently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally more than 100 lbs (team lift required)
Work near moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to fumes, chemicals, or outdoor conditions
Moderate noise level
