Athens' Best Properties Community Management, a growing community association (HOA) management company, seeks an experienced community association manager for its office in Athens, GA.
Position Summary: Manages common interest developments, including homeowner associations in Athens, Oconee, and surrounding counties. This position will have some hybrid qualities.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Manages a portfolio of homeowner associations
Serves as liaison among homeowners, board members, and vendors
Attends board meetings
Takes minutes and implements direction from the board
Follows policies and procedures from the board
Conducts property inspections per the contract. Walks the property, inspects for CC&R (covenants, conditions, and restrictions) violations
Monitors and inspects landscape and other vendor performance (such as pool and sidewalks) for any association component from the ground level
Issues violation letters based on association policy
Issues work orders based on association policy
Prepare board package for meetings.
Obtain proposals from vendors based on association need
Prepare an annual calendar for the association
Complete all tasks on the annual calendar within the designated timeframe
Assure statutory compliance with all applicable laws in regard to CIDs
Assure performance in accordance with management agreement
Perform job duties per contract
Skills and Abilities
I prefer a CAM License and am proficient in Rent Manager.
Must be organized, very detail oriented, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Must have exceptional customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to work under stress, with interruptions, and meet all deadlines
Ability to process verbal information and input this information into computer system
Ability to follow complex instructions
Ability to master basic math skills
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
