Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate (LCSW-A) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation standards.
- Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention techniques.
- Utilize motivational interviewing strategies to foster patient engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
- Manage intake processes efficiently while maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans addressing mental health needs, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer's care, PTSD, addiction issues, and other behavioral health concerns.
- Provide specialized services including child & family counseling, working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays, geriatrics care, and special education support when applicable.
- Participate in clinical research projects related to mental health or behavioral health topics while collecting data for ongoing studies.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an LCSW or LCSW-A with appropriate state certification; experience in clinical counseling preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis management.
- Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD care needs, geriatrics including Alzheimer's care, and patients with complex medical conditions.
- Proficiency in EMR systems for documentation and data collection; experience with clinical research is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform patient assessments effectively while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and compassion.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
