HireCare Services is actively hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy services for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities in Alexandria, VA and surrounding communities.
This is a flexible opportunity with both part-time and full-time availability, ideal for individuals seeking hands-on clinical experience, professional growth, and meaningful work in a supportive environment.

As a Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide direct, 1:1 ABA therapy in home settings under the supervision of a BCBA. You will support children in building communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills using structured teaching strategies and positive reinforcement.
Implement individualized ABA therapy programs as directed by a BCBA
Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions in home and community environments
Collect accurate behavioral data during each session
Communicate progress and observations to clinical supervisors
Complete detailed and timely session documentation
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical ABA practices
Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and families
Active RBT certification OR willingness to complete certification (training provided)
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
High school diploma or equivalent required
Flexible part-time and full-time positions available
Afternoon and after-school availability (Monday–Friday)
Occasional weekend hours depending on client needs
15–25+ hours per week based on availability and caseload
