1928 Cuban Bistro is looking for an experienced, customer service–driven Shift Lead to join our Fleming Island team!
We are seeking someone who is friendly, dependable, and confident leading a team in a fast-paced café environment. If you have leadership experience and love hospitality, this is a great opportunity to grow with a well-established local brand.
Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and support daily operations
- Open and/or close the restaurant
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Supervise and support front-of-house team members
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards
- Handle cash management and POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Assist with training new hires
- Communicate effectively with management
Requirements:
- Previous shift lead or supervisory experience (required)
- Strong customer service skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation
- Open availability preferred (weekends required)
