For over 40 years Chyten Education has been providing the highest quality test preparation programs to students around the country. We are looking to bring on highly motivated and experienced instructors to join our team! We take great care to ensure that our academic staff are prepared, informed, and ready to work with our students around the country. Tutors will work among a helpful, caring staff in an environment where great teachers fulfill their passionate desire to help students reach and exceed their expectations. Chyten has 42 years of industry experience and proprietary curriculum that sets the bar high for students in grades 5-12.

Responsibilities:
· Complete SAT and/or ACT Training Program prior to teaching SAT or ACT test preparation (training provided).
· Provide tutoring and test preparation services to students in grades 7-12.
· Maintain and update accurate online calendar schedule.
· Provide timely, clear, and specific notes regarding tutoring sessions to students, parents, and administration staff using Chyten's online communication and scheduling platform.
· Teach Chyten test taking strategies for SAT, ACT, SSAT, and/or SSAT (Chyten Training Program completion required to teach test preparation)
· Attend trainings and meetings as needed.
· Opportunities to teach small group learning courses.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree Required. Masters Degree Preferred.
· Tutoring or teaching experience.
· Expertise in the subject area that you would like to tutor or teach.
· Basic computer literacy.
· Reliable transportation to travel to one of our centers or partner school locations.
· Availability during evenings and/or weekends
