Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across industrial and commercial settings. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Conduct diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify electrical faults or inefficiencies.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures and extend system lifespan.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes.
- Install and connect programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems in industrial environments.
- Follow strict electrical safety procedures during all phases of work to protect yourself and colleagues from hazards.

Experience

- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.

- Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, low voltage systems, and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes is essential.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical installation or upgrades.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, testing devices like ohmmeters, and working safely at heights or in confined spaces.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and industrial automation is highly desirable.

Pay: $29.48 - $35.50 per hour
