Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The role does require weekly traveling. Heaton Design Build LLC has projects all over the United States. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate project schedules using ProCore or similar project management software to optimize resource allocation and workflow.
- Manage teams across multiple disciplines, including subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
- Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Review construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility before project commencement.
- Monitor project budgets through Construction budget management practices; track costs and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of contracts, change orders, progress reports, and regulatory compliance records.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or equivalent tools for project tracking and reporting.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials by coordinating with suppliers based on project schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality control issues, and safety compliance; address any issues promptly.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders through project coordination meetings and status updates.
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects within commercial or infrastructure sectors.
- Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Strong background in construction estimating, project scheduling (including Primavera P6), and cost management techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role with excellent leadership skills.
- Proficiency with construction plans reading (blueprints), contracts management, and project management software such as ProCore.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction site safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
