Holiday Lighting Installer & Crew Leader (Full-Time)

Job Type: Seasonal Full-Time (October – January)
PAY RANGE: Pay is strictly based on your comfort level with heights. Ground crew positions start at $20+/hr, Roof & Tree positions start at $23+/hr, Lead Installer $28+/hr.
Ground Installers (Base Support): $20 – $22/ hour (Based on experience) + Tips + Bonuses.
Role: Unspooling lines, custom-cutting extension cords, labeling bins, passing clips up, holding the base of 40-foot ladders, wrapping low-level bushes/trees, and setting up timers.

The Roof & Tree Guy (In-Field Installer): $23– $27 / hour (Based on experience) + Tips + Bonuses
Role: The muscle. They must be fearless at heights. Climbing the extension ladders, wrapping high tree branches, navigate steep roof pitches, clip the C9s to the gutters, and handle the heavy physical installation.

The Lead Installer / Crew Leader: $28 – $30 / hour (Based on leadership & trade experience) + Tips + Performance Bonuses
Role: Drives the truck, talks directly to high-profile clients, manages the inventory, troubleshoots electrical/breaker issues, and guarantees the safety of their crew.

Choose Your Path: Roles & Responsibilities
1. Regular Installer (Crew Member)
No holiday lighting experience? No problem—if you have a background in construction, roofing, landscaping, tree service, or window washing, we will train you on the art of lighting.
- The Job: Safely handle extension ladders, walk roofs, hang custom holiday lighting, install greenery/wreaths, and carefully pack/unload trucks.
- The Goal: Take direction well, hustle safely, work as a team, and treat every client’s property like it’s your own.
2. Lead Installer (Crew Leader)
You are the quarterback on the job site. You run the truck and manage the install from start to finish.
- The Job: Lead a 5-to-6-person crew, manage on-site logistics and inventory, map out the layout of complex lighting designs, and ensure total safety protocols are followed.
- The Goal: Keep jobs running on time, handle basic electrical troubleshooting on-site, inspect the finished product to ensure it meets our A-plus standard, and act as the professional face of the company for the client.

What We Are Looking For
- Fearless at Heights: You must be 100% comfortable climbing tall extension ladders, walking rooflines of varying pitches, and working on scaffolding or man-lifts.
- Punctuality is Non-Negotiable: Our day starts early. Because our morning meeting point is in Manhattan Beach, you must live close enough (or be disciplined enough) to arrive on time every single day. No traffic excuses.
- Physical Stamina: This is a grueling, fast-paced, outdoor physical job. You must be able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, reach, and hustle all day.
- Clean Driving Record (For Leads): Valid CA driver’s license with a clean record to drive company trucks and trailers.
- Great Attitude: No drama, no egos. Just good communication and a willingness to work hard.
