Job Description:
- 1st shift schedule: Starts between 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Workweek: Monday through Friday
- MUST be willing to go out 1-2 nights a week
- Shift length: 12-14 hour shifts
- Pay rate: $26-27 per hour (based on experience)
- Overtime policy: Straight pay after 40 hours (no time-and-a-half)
- Weekly hours: Approximately 50–55 hours per week
Job Requirements:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) .
- Clean or acceptable driving record (MVR check)
- Must comply with FMCSA/DOT regulations (hours of service, logbooks, etc.)
- Previous truck driving experience (often preferred, NOT required)
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and defensive driving
- Ability to load, secure, and inspect cargo
- Basic ability to use GPS/navigation and electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Reliable attendance and ability to meet delivery schedules
- Ability to lift moderate weight (for tarping, securing freight, etc.)
- Good communication skills with dispatch and customers
- Willingness to work long hours, early mornings, or flexible routes depending on freight needs
