Carson’s Nut-Bolt & Tool Co. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales / Inside Sales Representative for our Asheville location. This position is responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter, handling incoming calls and orders, supporting inside sales activities, and assisting with warehouse operations as needed.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and experience in industrial, construction, fastener, or tool sales environments.

Assist walk-in customers with product selection, order entry, and problem solving

Answer incoming phone calls and provide product information, pricing, and availability

Build and maintain strong customer relationships

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

Support outside sales and inside sales efforts as needed

Assist customers with loading and unloading materials when necessary

Help maintain an organized, clean, and stocked showroom and warehouse

Pull, stage, and receive inventory as needed

Participate in product training to maintain knowledge of industrial supplies, tools, fasteners, and safety products

Work closely with branch personnel to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations

Assist with warehouse duties and deliveries when needed

Previous experience in industrial supply, construction supply, fasteners, tools, or related industries preferred

Counter sales, inside sales, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Good organizational and time management skills

Basic computer and order entry skills

Forklift experience is a plus but not required

Valid driver’s license with safe driving recor
