Access Control Service Technician
Boca Raton to Miami, FL
Pay: $23-$27/Hour
Contract-to-Hire | Company Vehicle & Benefits Upon Permanent Hire
Are you an experienced Access Control Technician looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow? We're hiring a Service Technician to support commercial security systems throughout Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. This is a contract-to-hire position with the opportunity to join a growing team full-time and receive a company vehicle and excellent benefits upon conversion.
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial access control systems
- Install, terminate, and service low-voltage wiring and access control devices
- Service card readers, door strikes, magnetic locks, request-to-exit devices, and control panels
- Perform system testing and verify proper operation after repairs
- Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot field wiring issues
- Complete service calls while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate job status
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Brivo Access Control is highly preferred
- Experience with any commercial access control platform is accepted (Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Software House, Openpath, Kisi, etc.)
- Experience troubleshooting low-voltage systems
- Strong wiring, termination, and installation skills
- Comfortable working independently in the field
Requirements
- 2+ years of access control or commercial security experience
- Experience troubleshooting and servicing access control systems
- Strong low-voltage wiring and termination experience
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE
Position Details
- Pay: $23-$27/hour (Based on Experience)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM Start
- Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
- Service Area: Boca Raton to Miami, FL
