Overview:
We are looking for a customer service oriented individual who is organized and professional. This team player ensures that customers are listened to and cared for in a way that is consistent with our standards and values. Must maintain up to date knowledge of our products and their attributes, including strains, cultivation information and therapeutic properties, as well as relevant cannabis industry knowledge and applicable state laws.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Provide a safe and welcoming environment for customers, answer product specific questions and make recommendations as requested.
● Properly follow cash handling procedures.
● Accurately maintain product inventory counts.
● Follow standard security protocols.
● Adapt to frequent technology and procedure changes.
● Maintain an understanding of and follow state of Vermont regulations.
● Sample products and/or capture customer anecdotal feedback to better make recommendations.
● Fill-in responsibilities of Greeter & Online Order Fulfillment as needed to maintain proper store flow.
Job & Physical Requirements:
● Per state law, must be at least 21 years of age.
● Per state law, must be able to obtain and maintain a current cannabis employment permit.
● Vermont resident with a current valid State-issued ID or driver's license.
● Provide necessary documentation for employment in the United States.
● Able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
● Able to periodically bend, reach, and squat.
● Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
● 5+ years of professional experience
● Retail or sales experience preferred
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
