Come join the Team at RockShield Rubber as a Finishing Tech!
This role is vital to our process as it is responsible for the finishing of rubber and urethane products prior to shipment. This role ensures our products look and perform at their best!
Essential Functions:
- Sanding and /or trimming of rubber and urethane parts to print
- Palletizing/boxing of completed products
- Installation of magnets into magnetic liners
- Operate Clicker cutter as required
- Visually inspect parts for flaws and/or defects (HIGHLY IMPORTANT)
- Perform quality checks using micrometers and other measuring instruments before final assembly or shipment
Requirements
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments is helpful, but we will train!
- Familiarity with safety procedures involving cranes, forklifts, and various hand tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality inspections.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
