INNOCEAN USA, a full-service advertising agency located in sunny Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a part-time Barista.
We are looking for an experienced Barista who can work Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30a-5:30p, total of 16 hours week with potential to work additional hours as needed to include special events and front desk/reception support. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and other beverages to employees and visitors in our complimentary private in-house café. An outgoing personality and exceptional customer service skills are required, as well as basic administrative skills for overseeing café operations and teamwork assisting other members of the Office Administration team with tasks beyond the café.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet employees, visitors, and company clients in a professional and friendly manner

Prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and other hot and cold drinks to order

Prepare carafes of drip coffee, ice-tea, and lemonade for office pantries and snack bar

Stock snacks and fresh fruit in a presentable manner on the snack bar; rotate inventory

Order snacks, fruit, drinks, milk, coffee, etc. and maintain inventory in storeroom

Maintain coffee machines, espresso machine, reverse-osmosis filter and other kitchen equipment in clean and working condition, overseeing outside vendors as necessary

Keeping the kitchen area clean and sanitized

Assist with planning, preparation, set-up, catering orders, serving, and clean-up of company events to include frequent employee breakfasts and happy hours

Run occasional errands, to include shopping for/picking up items for events such as alcohol, decorations, or food that cannot be delivered or is needed last minute, using a company vehicle and company credit card

Assist the Admin Team with large projects or filling-in for team member’s absence on occasion that may include mailroom, reception desk, or other light clerical duties. Note, the barista is often asked to cover the reception desk for breaks

Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of experience working as a barista is a must

Basic administrative skills to manage inventory, place orders, answer phone, and work at reception desk or assist with other tasks on occasion
COMPENSATION $20 hr
