We're looking for a Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team!
The Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of building operations, ensuring the community remains safe, compliant, and well-maintained. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily building operations and maintenance systems
- Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and inspection readiness
- Manage and complete unit turns efficiently
- Maintain resident rooms and common areas to high standards
- Lead and supervise maintenance assistants, housekeeping, and laundry teams
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules and departmental budgets
- Coordinate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and local fire departments
- Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain organized records and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Experience with problem solving with misc. day to day operations in an health care setting
- Proven experience in building operations and maintenance management
- Experience in senior living or healthcare environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of fire safety compliance and inspection processes
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Highly organized with strong scheduling and budgeting abilities
- Self-motivated, dependable, and solutions-oriented
Work Schedule:
- Monday- Friday
- On Call for Emergencies
