DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Engineer with experience in the design of HVAC and Process Piping projects for bio-tech, data center, hospital, universities and various types of commercial facilities.
This person will be responsible for:
Attend start up meetings & fully understand design intent & scope
Preparation of basis of design documentation which outlines the client's requirements
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective communication & coordination with Clients, Project managers, Architects, Contractors & equipment vendors
Effective meeting minutes & action item taken
Review of multi discipline design drawings for coordination
Detailed HVAC & Process piping system design & component/equipment selections
Preparation of construction documents & project specifications
Perform load analysis as required to determine system sizes
Complete project tasks within established design budgets & schedules
Provide technical support to the project managers & construction team
Requirements
5+ years experience of HVAC / Process Piping systems design & layout
Experience with large commercial systems engineering, Experience in a Design / Build environment is preferred
Professional registration as a Mechanical Engineer in Wisconsin
BS Mechanical Engineering Degree
Familiarity with Wisconsin building codes and regulation
AutoCAD proficiency is preferred
