All Bright ABA is looking for energetic, motivated, and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide Behavior therapy in the Mechanicsburg and surrounding areas.
Job Overview: RBTs will use ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) interventions to teach communication, social skills, academic skills, play skills and daily living skills to individuals with Autism and related disorders. RBTs will implement treatment plan that focus on increasing functional behavior and reducing problem behavior in home, school and community settings.
Behavior Helath Technician Responsibilities:
- Collects and maintains daily data and quality session notes for the client
- Provide ABA interventions to teach goals as listed in the treatment plan
- Seek supervision from BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) on a weekly basis
- Maintain program books for each client
- Works in a collaborative manner with all parties such as parents, school, daycare and community members
- Maintain ethical and professional boundaries when communicating with all involved
- Maintain a positive learning environment for client and their caregivers.
- Offer commitment towards programming leading to positive outcomes for clients and their caregivers.
Behavior Technician Qualifications:
Required:
- Successful Reference Check
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle & required auto insurance
- Successful background check
- Clean clearances: PA Child Abuse, PA State Police Criminal, FBI Criminal
- Trainings as required by IBHS and BACB (Included in on-boarding checklist) Preferred
- Compassionate, energetic, motivated to learn
- Required availability from 8am-6pm for full time candidates.
Preferred:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 2-21 in settings such as school, home and community; experience implementing and supervising the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Bachelor’s degree (psychology, human services, education, social work or related field)
- Experience working with individuals on the Autism spectrum
