We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a contract assignment supporting customers in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will provide thoughtful, efficient assistance over the phone, helping callers complete requests accurately and move through the process with confidence. The ideal candidate brings a service-first mindset, maintains dependable queue coverage during scheduled hours, and responds well to feedback in a fast-paced call center environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver courteous, patient support to customers by handling inbound calls and guiding each interaction from start to resolution.
- Help customers complete the correct forms and provide thorough information so requests are submitted accurately the first time.
- Monitor open or incomplete applications and follow up as needed to reduce delays and keep cases moving forward.
- Maintain consistent availability during assigned hours and remain ready to support incoming customer volume.
- Enter customer details and request information carefully into internal systems to ensure accurate records and processing.
- Make outbound calls when follow-up is needed to clarify information, provide updates, or assist with next steps.
- Apply coaching and feedback constructively to improve service quality, call handling, and overall performance.
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or high-volume phone support environment.
- Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls professionally while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Strong data entry and order entry skills with close attention to accuracy and completeness.
- Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to explain processes in a calm, helpful manner.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to remain consistently available during scheduled working hours.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and adjusting approach based on coaching or performance guidance.
- Ability to stay organized while handling multiple customer cases and follow-up activities.
