Summary
Allendale is seeking Line Cooks to join our culinary team at our main campus in Lake Villa, Illinois. Your commitment will be crucial in fostering a positive dining experience that supports our mission of care and healing.
Responsibilities
- Line Cooks are responsible for supporting the preparation and clean-up of meals prepared for Allendale clients and staff at the campus dining hall as well as meals prepared to be consumed outside the dining hall. The Cook is required to comply with all safety and sanitation requirements of the Health Department and the National School Lunch Program in addition to the expectations of Allendale.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience with school or child-based environment.
- Understanding of Allendale’s Point of Sale tracking to ensure clients with dietary or other restrictions are being served appropriate food in recommended quantities. Certification in food safety and sanitation.
