Las Perlas is looking for a new member of our Bar Leadership Team in Los Angeles, CA.
Built around a love and respect for agave, Las Perlas is a high-volume bar rooted in tequila, mezcal, community, and genuine hospitality. We’re looking for a leader who thrives in a busy room, has a passion for agave spirits and cocktail culture, and understands that great leadership means being just as invested in your team as you are in the guest experience.
The Role…
As a Bar Lead, you’ll help carry that culture forward. You’ll work alongside the General Manager to lead from the floor, develop the team, strengthen the business, and continue building your own path as a hospitality leader.

Main Duties, but are not limited to…
- Partner with your GM to identify leadership goals and areas for growth
- Immense passion, knowledge and understanding of Agave
- Collaborate on cocktail menus, ensuring creativity, guest appeal, and cost-efficiency
- Support planning and execution of events, activations, and community engagements aligned with the bar’s brand
- Partner with vendors and marketing teams to drive exposure, awareness, and revenue growth
- Close the bar and handle cash nightly from drops and tip outs
- Track guest feedback, event ROI, and revenue trends to inform decision-making
- Assist with weekly budgets, inventory, and ordering to support financial goals
- Develop systems that improve consistency in service, prep, and operations
- Support the Bar Leadership Team by leading by example, mentoring peers, and fostering a culture of hospitality and accountability
- Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and leadership development workshops
- Represent Pouring With Heart’s values of community, camaraderie, and connection in every interaction
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Prior bar or managerial experience in hospitality preferred
- 3+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or cocktail focused environment preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while keeping a calm, positive demeanor
- Strong product knowledge in spirits, beer, and cocktails with curiosity to expand expertise
- Ability to balance creativity with financial awareness (menu costing, waste reduction, ROI tracking)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with both staff and guests
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
- Team-oriented leader with the ability to delegate, coach, and support peers
- Must be 21+ and hold valid certifications for responsible beverage service (varies by state)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Fast-paced movements and mobility required to cover bar and floor space efficiently
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions as part of daily bar operations

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
