Schedule: Monday–Friday; Saturday overtime available
We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Quality Control Inspector to inspect fabricated steel components and help maintain quality throughout the production process. Experienced senior-level structural steel fitters or fabricators may also be considered.
- Inspect fabricated structural steel throughout the production process.
- Identify and document nonconformances in accordance with AWS D1.1/D1.5 requirements.
- Compare materials and finished components against shop drawings and specifications.
- Perform in-process and final inspections, including dimensional layout and part placement.
- Assist with AISC QC audits.
- Work with production teams to identify, document, and resolve quality concerns.
- Support quality improvement activities and process improvements.
- 3–5 years of experience in structural steel layout and fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication and construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and quality standards.
- D1.1 and/or D1.5 welding certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues accurately.
