Join Arxada's Rochester site as a Reliability Engineer and gain hands-on experience supporting equipment reliability, maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives in a world-class chemical manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of equipment reliability programs.
Assist in analyzing equipment performance data and identifying opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
Participate in root cause investigations related to equipment and process failures.
Help develop and maintain preventive maintenance strategies and asset maintenance plans.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Support reliability improvement projects and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Assist in maintaining engineering standards, equipment documentation, and spare parts information.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Learn and apply reliability engineering principles, tools, and best practices with guidance from senior team members.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
0-3 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, reliability, or industrial operations (internships and co-op experiences are welcome).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical and operational data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn, develop technical expertise, and build a career in reliability and maintenance engineering.
The expected salary range for this role is $74,000- $96,000 annual, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
