Established in 1972, the Lake County Council on Aging has been dedicated to supporting the senior residents of who are aged 60 and over. We provide a wide range of services, including case management, nutrition, light housekeeping, and volunteer opportunities, all aimed at helping seniors live independently and safely in their own homes. Our mission is to empower seniors and support their families and caregivers through compassionate service.
Duties
Lake County Council on Aging in Mentor, is currently accepting applications for individuals interested in providing support and assistance to senior citizens with periodic housekeeping tasks.
Housekeepers are responsible for providing house cleaning services with the intent of providing a safe, independent living through biweekly house cleaning services for assigned older adult clients. Duties include: Light dusting, Vacuum and mop floors, Clean kitchen: wipe appliances, cupboards, counters and sinks .Clean bathroom: wiping tub, sink and toilet. Changing bed linens. Maintain records and client paperwork.
Travel around Lake County required, must have reliable transportation.... car or van, and clean driving record. You will be reimbursed thru the Agency's mileage reimbursement program.
Job Type: full time
Wage: $ 15.00/hour
Expected start date: as soon as possible
Candidates must PASS a thorough background check and finger printing.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, days
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
