Education Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in related field (Required)

Master's Degree in related field (Preferred)
Experience Qualifications:

10 years of experience, or combination thereof, in administration, investment planning, not-for profit fundraising, and/or supervision with instructional leadership responsibilities (Required)

Experience at the system level (Preferred)

Primary Responsibilities:
Provide senior leadership and strategic direction to support the organization's vision to be a system of world-class schools through creative and strategic long-term development and planned giving initiatives.

Lead, design, implement, and direct all fundraising activities including annual giving, endowment and capital campaigns, special projects, and other school-related funding solicitations.

Lead, develop, and manage all strategies and activities for donor cultivation, solicitation, and relations.

Maintain contact with and develop grant proposals for foundations and corporations.

Lead, develop, and implement parent and class-based fundraising programs within the Annual Fund.

Lead, develop, and cultivate a comprehensive, long-range planned-giving program for the Foundation.

Serve as the Senior Executive Director of the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation Fund, Inc.
-
Provide guidance and support to the Foundation Board of Trustees and the CEO/Superintendent to develop strategies to initiate and meet aggressive fundraising goals.

Lead fundraising training for Foundation trustees and other leadership volunteers.
-
Direct responsibility for all development reports to the Board and other agencies.
-
Plan and attend all Foundation Board meetings.
-
Assist the Foundation trustees with all Board duties and responsibilities.
-
Ensure the implementation of the Foundation and school system policies and practices.
-
Lead and manage the Foundation's office infrastructure and functions.
-
Lead office systems to support all development projects and operations.
-
Supervise donor and gift record-keeping.
-
Coordinate research activities.
-
Oversee the management of databases, records, files, and gift processing.
-
Direct the pledge reminder, acknowledgement, and scholarship programs.
-
Lead, design, and manage the Foundation's research and grant procurement processes.
-
Lead the planning and execution of our annual Gwinnett Sports Hall of Fame event.

Conduct committee meeting to elect new members.

Coordinate sales efforts with the Foundation team.
-
Conduct meetings with the Foundation Executive and Full Board to discuss the event and get their help to ensure a successful evening.

Work directly with the Director of Development as needed.

Lead employee/retiree relations.

Manage and maintain the employee/retiree database.

Lead the employee/retiree giving campaign.
-
Organize and support employee/retiree associations.
-
Organize retiree events, collect news and information about retirees for publication, and maintain accurate records of the school system retirees.

Lead corporate and community relations.
-
Manage and maintain the corporate and community database.

Conduct the corporate and community giving campaign.

Organize and support corporate and community associations.

Organize retiree events, collect news and information about the corporate and community donors for publication, and maintain accurate records of the school's retiree.

Lead, develop, and maintain a comprehensive public relations, marketing, and advertising program.

Work with the Chief Engagement Officer and the CEO/Superintendent to develop public relations and marketing plans.

Lead the design and oversee the production of all major publications.

Work with the Chief Financial Officer to develop the Foundation budget and monthly and annual reports.

Work with the district's website designer to promote fundraising goals and activities.

Develop and implement a communication and promotional plan for the capital campaign.

Develop and implement strategies to promote the district's mission to internal and external stakeholders.

Direct the continuous improvement efforts for all departmental processes.
