Job Description: Atilar Pharma is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Compounder to join our sterile compounding operations team. As a 503B outsourcing facility, we are dedicated to producing the highest quality compounded sterile preparations for healthcare facilities and patients across the country. The Compounder will be responsible for the preparation of sterile pharmaceutical products in accordance with USP <797>, cGMP standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
· Prepare sterile compounded preparations including small and large volume parenterals, syringes, and other dosage forms in accordance with master formulation records and SOPs.
· Perform aseptic technique within ISO-classified cleanrooms and laminar airflow workbenches or biological safety cabinets.
· Accurately calculate, measure, and weigh pharmaceutical ingredients to ensure correct concentrations and volumes.
· Complete batch records, labels, and compounding logs accurately and in real time, maintaining full documentation compliance.
· Perform in-process quality checks and inspections to verify product integrity, appearance, and labeling accuracy.
· Follow all gowning, hand hygiene, and cleanroom behavior protocols to maintain environmental control and prevent contamination.
· Operate, clean, and perform basic maintenance on compounding equipment, reporting any malfunctions or anomalies promptly.
· Participate in environmental monitoring activities including surface and air sampling as assigned.
· Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, hazardous drug handling procedures, and waste disposal requirements.
· Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Pharmacy teams to ensure all compounded preparations meet established specifications prior to release.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.
· Previous experience in a sterile compounding, 503B outsourcing facility, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
· Knowledge of or willingness to train in aseptic technique and cleanroom operations. · Familiarity with USP <797> and cGMP standards is advantageous.
· Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate pharmaceutical calculations.
· Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and product preparation.
· Ability to follow written procedures, formulation records, and verbal instructions precisely.
· Physical ability to stand for extended periods, work in gowning attire, and operate within a cleanroom environment.
· Strong teamwork and communication skills with a collaborative, quality-first mindset.

Compensation · Starting salary: $45,000 annually
