Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing systems, ensuring safety, precision, and durability in every project. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces by building secure, attractive fences that meet client specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and project specifications to accurately execute fence installation projects.
- Measure, mark, and layout fence lines according to design plans, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and install fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain link, or ornamental metal.
- Perform heavy lifting of fencing materials and components to facilitate smooth installation processes while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use welding techniques when necessary to join metal components or reinforce fence structures for added strength and stability.
- Prepare the construction site by clearing debris, setting concrete forms for posts, and maintaining the work area for safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members on building material installation, concrete forming, masonry work, and landscape maintenance tasks as needed to complete projects on time.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on fence construction projects preferred.
- Knowledge of frame carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, and hardscape installation is highly advantageous.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools with a strong emphasis on power tool safety practices.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience with welding or metal fabrication is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance or general construction site experience is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent teamwork skills to ensure quality workmanship from start to finish.
- Must have New Jersey drivers license
