We are seeking a full-time CNA-2 in the Pre and Post Op department at Center for Specialty Surgery (CSS). This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to multi-task and work as a team with nothing but the best patient care in mind. If you have medical, surgery center/hospital experience this may be the position for you!

- Clinical Leader: Featuring a fast-paced multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center performing multi-specialty cases. High volume specialties include orthopedics, neuro, total joint, pain management and dental.
Job Responsibilities
Pre-Operative Care
- Supporting role to the Registered RN's
- Take vital signs of patients including temperature and blood pressure
- Surgical preps.
- Prepares IV’s for use (tubing).
- Cast cutting as needed
- Stocking
- Assisting Materials Manager as needed
Post-Operative Care*
- Operate under the direct supervisor of a Registered Nurse assisting with patient care, transport and preparation/cleaning of patient bays.
- Direct in coming patients to appropriate bay and assisting with nourishment needs.
- Assist with cold therapies.
- Room Turn Over assistance
- Assist patients to wheelchair and with ambulation
- Assist with connecting patient to monitors
- Pre-operative calls/reminders for surgery
What You Will Need:
- CNA-2 Cerfication or Certified Medical Assistant- 1 year or 1-year experience in a hospital (ER, med/surg unit or orthopedic clinic preferred) environment
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with a supportive positive atitude
- Excellent customer service skills
