Duties
- Lead the architecture and development of scalable, high-performance software systems using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and Ruby on Rails.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate efficient communication between distributed components.
- Develop and maintain web applications utilizing JavaScript frameworks like React and Express, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, prioritize, and execute software development tasks using version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, and Git.
- Optimize system performance by applying design patterns, scalability best practices, and system design principles for large-scale applications on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment processes for rapid delivery cycles.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices in software engineering across projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in quantum engineering, API development, and cloud infrastructure to continually enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development with a strong background in IT infrastructure, web development, and application design.
- Extensive knowledge of programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, VBA, and C.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express for front-end development.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, scalability strategies, and system design for large systems.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Proficiency with version control systems including GitHub, SVN, or Git for collaborative development workflows.
- Experience working within Agile software development methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL or SQL Server for data management; experience with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices including RBAC security models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across teams.
