American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a community hospital, requiring NCC C-EFM certification and at least 1 year of L&D experience, with night shift availability every other weekend.

Community hospital Labor & Delivery unit with a 4-bed LDR, 1 OR, 2 Triage/Ante partum rooms, and a 12-bed Mother Baby unit that also serves GYN/Women's Surgical patients

Level 1 Well Baby Nursery primarily caring for patients at 35 weeks gestation and above; patients presenting at earlier gestations are stabilized and transferred

Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults

Patient ratio is 1:2
-
Unit performs approximately 50–60 deliveries per month

All staff are required to work in all areas of the department, including circulating and catching babies

Charting is done in Epic
-
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating required within the specialty and to Mother Baby/Postpartum as needed
-
No on-call required
-
Holiday coverage required as scheduled

Active MD RN license or compact RN license required

Required certifications in hand at time of consideration: BLS, ACLS, NCC C-EFM, NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI
-
STABLE certification preferred

Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required; 2 years preferred

Experience in LDRP or comfort working across both L&D and Mother Baby settings preferred

Ability to circulate and assist with deliveries required

Note: AWHONN intermediate or advanced certifications do not satisfy the Maryland state EFM requirement and cannot substitute for NCC C-EFM
