Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Worker, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our distribution operations forward! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, but is very physical!
This requires the ability to work quickly and safely to handle material in our warehouse. Record Center Specialists have to kneel, squat, reach, and bend forward frequently throughout their shifts. Their primary tasks include the moving, arranging, lifting and loading of storage boxes, bins and totes. Boxes, bins and totes range in weight from 24lbs to over 100lbs.
This position is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent for dedicated and reliable team members who thrive on teamwork and safety. Must be willing to commit to the weekly schedule on a long-term basis and willing to convert to full-time, and have reliable transportation to get to work each day.
Responsibilities
- Lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods
- Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods, including navigating stairs, inclines, and changes in elevation
- Operate a handheld scanner and proprietary computer system to track, locate, and process incoming/outgoing orders
- Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts; load boxes and pallets onto trucks manually and with equipment
- Climb and balance on ladders as needed
- Read and write English to read labels and process order documentation
Required attire
- Safety shoes / Steel toed boots are REQUIRED
- No leggings or tight pants
- No inappropriate graphics on clothes
- No low cut shirts
- No open toed shoes
- No shear/see through clothing
- No sweatpants
- No torn clothing
Note: Drug test and clear background check is required for this position.
Pay: $21.43 per hour
