GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Tool & Die Maker is responsible building production tools for the metal stamping equipment on the plant floor. MUST HAVE DIE REPAIR / TOOL ROOM EXPERIENCE.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
Build production tools.
Build simple tooling on verbal instruction.
Run lathe, shaper, milling machine, surface grinder, drill press, die filing machine.
Perform necessary hard finishing operations such as scraping, filing, and polishing.
Inspect each phase of work against tool drawings.
Check tooling during trial runs and determine required changes.
Complete required records.
Read blueprints.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.54 - $31.36 per hour
