We are looking for an experienced manager to maintain the ZoomAround standards by managing, scheduling deadlines, ensuring accurate parts orders and inventory, open and close day to day activities in a clean and safe environment, conduct daily/weekly meetings to ensure quality and communicate to the ZoomAround leadership team and customers. Our Fleet Manager is critical in maintaining the integrity of our craftsmanship for our customers and the ZoomAround culture for all team members.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience leading, training, and developing Teams in a fast-paced operational environment
- Proven ability to foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work culture
- Experience overseeing daily operations, logistics, scheduling, and operational readiness
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor, and hold Team Members accountable to company standards
- Experience ensuring workplace safety through adherence to company safety policies, operational procedures, and hazard prevention
- Skilled in developing and executing operational schedules to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, and timely service execution
- Ability to proactively identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to improve efficiency and performance
- Experience overseeing inventory management, parts ordering, and asset tracking while maintaining accurate inventory control
- Experience improving operational processes, organization, and workflow efficiency
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong understanding of customer service expectations and the ability to help resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Ability to assist with budgeting, payroll oversight, and operational cost management
- Experience maintaining high standards of vehicle, equipment, and operational quality
- Ability to adapt quickly and perform effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Willingness to lead by example and assist with hands-on operational responsibilities when needed
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Foster a positive, professional, accountable, and team-oriented work environment while building meaningful relationships
- Coach, train, and hold Team Members accountable to company standards and expectations
- Overseeing open items & vehicle repairs with Club Car, including warranties
- Ensure the office and shop are opened and closed successfully daily
- Oversee shop inventory, parts ordering & tool organization
- Proactively identify and help resolve operational issues before they impact customers or daily operations
- Responsible for ensuring mechanics, drivers and detailers follow proper safety protocols
- Conduct team meetings on organizational vision, safety & performance
- Ensure all trucks and trailers are properly maintained, operational, and ready for daily use at all times, including properly stocked
- Assist with delivering & picking up carts, vehicle inspections, vehicle repairs, and detailing when needed
- Assist with after-hours calls & driving
- Oversee vehicle staging and cart readiness to ensure standards are consistently met
- Oversee and manage internal operational projects, ensuring timely progress and successful completion
- Oversee proper Daily Dashboard updates
- Ensure the successful completion, efficiency, and accuracy of driver routes
- Assist with staff scheduling and overhead budgeting
- Assist with internal day-to-day operations with Leadership Team
- Ensure accurate tracking of all cart locations, availability statuses, repairs, and operational readiness
- Communicate directly with Leadership on shop/team member performance & escalate any/all concerns or issues
- Assist Customer Service with troubleshooting of cart issues
- Travel to and assist with operations in both Florida & North Carolina locations, when needed
- Assist with inbound sales calls and reservations
- Eventually assist with monthly & quarterly reporting for Owners (Partners)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Leadership Experience 3+ years (preferred)
- Prior leadership experience, leading a team or multiple projects
- Demonstrated successful management or leadership in stressful situations
- Must enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment within a rapidly growing company
- Must have a clean driving record for at least 5 years to be able to driver street legal golf carts if/when needed
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook & Excel
- Ability to send out quality and professional emails
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
- Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
- Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment
- Enters and locates information on computer
- Visually verifies information, often in small print
- Presents information to small and large groups
- Safely operates motor vehicles
- Experience driving trucks & trailers

SCHEDULE
Friday to Tuesday. *Weekends & Holidays are required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
