Location: Bennett Street, Wrangell, AK 99929
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension)

Guaranteed Hours: 36
Pay Details:
For Local Candidates pay rate: $80 to $84/hr (If your permanent address is within 50 miles from the facility)
For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 65 mile radius from the facility):
Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $85.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate: $3,060.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate: $15.00
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable): $540.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,520.00

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $88.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate: $3,168.00
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a Long-Term Care setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide resident and family education regarding care plans and treatment goals
- Supervise and support CNAs, LPNs, and ancillary staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Participate in care conferences, quality initiatives, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Serve as Charge Nurse when needed and support unit operations during assigned shifts
Requirements:
- Active Alaska RN License required
- Must have an active Alaska license at the time of submission
- Must provide two fingerprint cards upon acceptance
- Flu vaccine required
- Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively in both routine and emergent situations
