QA Analyst – Advanced

Concordant LLC seeks a Quality Assurance Analyst – Advanced to support a government healthcare technology modernization program. This role focuses on functional and technical testing for a major enterprise system modernization initiative. The analyst will translate business and technical requirements into test cases, execute functional and technical testing, participate in defect triage and resolution, and maintain traceability between test cases, requirements, and system components.
Position Summary
This role supports a government agency's technology modernization program by performing tests on technical solutions to isolate and solve issues. The analyst initiates tests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in established test processes and SDLC tools
- Translate functional and technical requirements and technical designs into test cases
- Develop and execute functional and technical test cases under the direction of test leads and senior testers
- Create and maintain SDLC traceability from test cases to requirements and designs/software components
- Assist in generating requirement traceability matrices
- Participate in defect triage, retest, and resolution
- Create quality assurance documentation and reports as required
- Clearly communicate and document test status and defects identified
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, healthcare, or related field
- 2 years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
- 2 years of knowledge of manual testing techniques, including functional, regression, smoke, and usability and boundary testing
- 3 years of deep knowledge of healthcare operations (Medicaid experience preferred) and related business processes
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with large enterprise or e-business systems
- 3 years of experience using QA tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar
- 3 years of prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) and in an Agile delivery environment
- Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources
Location
This is a hybrid position based in Columbia, SC — 4 days in office, 1 day remote.

Pay: Up to $84,249.60 per year
