We are seeking an experienced property management professional to lead leasing and community operations at Skye at Riverwalk. This role requires proven property management experience, strong customer service skills, comfort with systems and technology, and fluency in English and Spanish. Skye at Riverwalk has recently been acquired and fully remodeled by Zavala Capital Group, a leading Sunbelt multifamily operator. The community features brand-new appliances, updated finishes, enhanced landscaping, and upgraded common areas. We are now focused on leasing this premium, repositioned community to full occupancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional management team at a high-quality, newly renovated property.
About This Role
You will oversee daily leasing and community operations at Skye at Riverwalk, manage the on-site team, and maintain strong resident relations while representing Zavala Property Management’s commitment to quality service. Responsibilities include apartment showings, lease execution, tenant communication (in English and Spanish), team coordination, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. Your primary focus will be driving occupancy and delivering high resident satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For (Experience Required)
- 2+ years of property management experience required (this is a must — we will only consider candidates with proven multifamily experience)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required — excellent written and verbal communication in both languages
- Proven leasing and community management background
- Strong customer service skills with excellent interpersonal ability
- Comfortable with property management software, computer systems, and Microsoft Office
- Extremely reliable and dependable — shows up on time and ready to work
- Hard-working, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Organized, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Takes ownership and follows projects through to completion
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct apartment showings and lease consultations with prospective residents (bilingual)
- Process lease applications and execute lease agreements
- Handle resident inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care (English and Spanish)
- Coordinate with on-site maintenance and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and data entry in property management systems
- Track occupancy metrics and drive leasing performance
- Manage lease renewals and resident retention initiatives
- Represent Skye at Riverwalk and Zavala Property Management with integrity
Compensation Structure
- Base salary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually
- Performance-based bonuses tied to occupancy goals, leasing velocity, and resident satisfaction metrics
- Full-time position reporting to Zavala Property Management
- On-site at Skye at Riverwalk
- Standard hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
