Dominican Village, a retirement community located in Amityville NY, is currently seeking a Full Time Housekeeper to perform cleaning and sanitizing functions in resident common areas, Kitchen and Cafe. Experience in the housekeeping department of a facility, not an individual residence, is highly preferred.
This is a full time cleaning position to assure the facility areas are clean, sanitized and free of odor. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing and other regular cleaning functions.
Candidates must be punctual, reliable, able to follow all safety procedures, and comfortable working around seniors. Ability to speak/read/write and communicate with our residents in English is a must. Regular work schedule will be Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
