Job Summary

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card payments, and returns
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves efficiently and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Support cashiering duties including basic math calculations for transactions and processing refunds or exchanges
- Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure adherence to store policies on cash handling, safety procedures, and customer privacy
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar retail environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is essential
- Strong communication skills to engage customers confidently and clearly
Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demonstrations enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Knowledge of phone etiquette ensures professional interactions with customers both in-store and over the phone
