JOB SUMMARY
AAA Mountain West Group is seeking a strategic and innovative Senior Organizational Development (SOD) Manager to design and deliver transformational leadership experiences. In this high-impact role, you will act as the expert architect for initiatives that build core capabilities for our people leaders. Moving beyond traditional program management, you will serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to HR leadership and business executives, diagnosing capability gaps and co-creating solutions that drive measurable business results. You will balance long-term strategic thinking with operational excellence to execute leadership assessments, executive coaching, and curated development at scale.
NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek, CA office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES
Strategic Expertise: Proven ability to build deep business acumen and use industry trends/research to design leadership experiences that achieve tangible ROI.
Coaching & Assessment Proficiency: Experience utilizing psychometric tools and 360-degree assessments to drive leader self-awareness. Professional Coaching Certification (e.g., ICF) is a significant plus.
Instructional Design & Facilitation: Expert understanding of adult learning principles with a track record of facilitating high-stakes sessions for VP+ audiences.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the presence and credibility to influence and advise senior executive leadership.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage the full lifecycle of complex OD initiatives, from initial conception through to launch and evaluation.
EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
8+ years of experience building and scaling leadership and organizational development programs within complex environments.
Or High School diploma and 12 years of experience building and scaling leadership and organizational development programs within complex environments.
Or combination of education and experience

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $132,465.00 - Mid: $165,580.00
