Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly and proactive team member to support our restaurant’s daily operations. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food service tasks, and ensuring our guests enjoy a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about hospitality, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cleaning duties throughout the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchens, and restrooms to uphold sanitation standards.
- Support bussing tables by clearing dishes and resetting tables efficiently for new guests.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment following safe lifting practices.
- Help with food handling and food safety procedures to ensure all items are prepared and served in accordance with health regulations.
- Aid in setting tables properly, including table setting and arranging utensils or condiments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members about daily tasks, cleanliness standards, and guest needs.
- Support catering or special events by assisting with food service or cleanup when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and safe handling of food and supplies.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests politely.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to food safety, serving, or catering.
- Team-oriented mindset focused on delivering excellent customer service in a busy environment.
