Math Tutor Extraordinaire Wanted!
Job Duties:
- Ignite young minds with personalized, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
- Craft tailored lesson plans to tackle each student's unique learning journey.
- Make math come alive through interactive teaching and hands-on activities.
- Keep a close eye on progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents.
- Be the guiding light for homework and test prep.
- Sprinkle in creativity using a variety of resources – from textbooks to educational games.
Skills
- Strong expertise in math topics, including Algebra and Geometry. Expertise in Algebra II and Calculus, preferred.
- Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children.
- Classroom management skills to create an organized and positive learning environment.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for students with varying backgrounds in physiology knowledge or childcare needs.
Other:
- In the absence of students, assist the team in a variety of other job related tasks.
