Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites or existing buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed in compliance with project specifications
Skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe installation, repair, and remodeling projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems related to plumbing and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and basic carpentry skills
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting procedures
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting plumbing issues
- Experience with field service work involving troubleshooting and repairs in commercial or residential settings
- Knowledge of schematics for mechanical systems and the ability to interpret technical instructions
- Valid commercial driver’s license (preferred) for transportation between job sites
- Handyman experience or assembly skills beneficial for multi-trade tasks

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
