Trauma Law is looking for an exceptional litigation paralegal with 5+ years of California plaintiff personal injury experience who wants to operate at a very high level.
This is not a job for someone who wants to wait for assignments.
We want the person attorneys rely on.
The person who knows the file. Catches the mistake. Protects the deadline. Sees the problem coming. Writes excellent discovery. Prepares the case correctly. And gets things done.

What You Will Own
- Propound and respond to FROGs, SROGs, RFPs and RFAs
- Review discovery responses and identify deficiencies
- Draft killer meet and confer letters
- Draft complaints, government claims and arbitration demands
- Prepare and manage court filings
- Prepare subpoenas and track evidence
- Work with medical records, experts and significant injury cases
- Prepare cases for depositions, mediations and trial
- Prepare exhibits, trial materials and litigation files
- Maintain airtight deadlines
- Identify what needs to happen next and move the case forward
- Coordinate DMEs with OC, doctors, our team, and the client
The existing Trauma Law role already includes discovery, court filings, subpoenas, experts, mediation materials and trial preparation.

Requirements
- 5+ years of California plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
- Significant discovery experience
- Strong knowledge of California Civil Procedure and local rules
- Extensive deposition, mediation and trial preparation experience
- Strong legal writing
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Strong medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Catastrophic injury and TBI experience strongly preferred
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- Speaking Spanish is a MAJOR plus
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
