Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our nurturing childcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child’s progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively in emergencies
- Support individual needs by adapting activities for children with disabilities or special education requirements
- Document daily observations of each infant’s development to inform future planning and parent updates
Experience
- Previous experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care
- Hands-on experience with classroom management and behavior guidance techniques for young children
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related health safety training preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, team members, and children in a caring manner
